What others have to say.

BEEN BLESSED

Living in the small community of Au Gres on Lake Huron, they had raised their two sons, made friends and had become fully involved in their small Lutheran church.  But now, with Kathi experiencing a fall and her husband having Leukemia, their sons were beginning to urge them to move closer to them.

SAVED ME

“I’ve been a member of Prince of Peace for a long time,” shared Diane, “since my kids were little”.  Prince of Peace was a good fit for Diane’s children as they had many friends in the church community. While being a mom and working part time, Diane still found time to work with the youth and participate in setting up communion.

How to Connect About Our Church
Food Distribution
The 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month

We have a drive through Food Distribution program, supplied by the SouthMichigan Food Bank, every month on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays.  The distribution starts at 1pm and goes until 3pm or until we run out of food.

On the 1st Thursday of the month, we hold a FreeStore, along with the Food Distribution. Clients are able to pick two items per car of either personal care or household care products.

Seeking a deeper connection?
Join us for learning, service, and fellowship.

In order to grow in faith as individuals and as a community, we need opportunities to experience God's love and practice following Jesus outside of worship. We get to know one another by sharing our lives and serving others together. We've had to be creative in how we do that safely during a pandemic, but our community has been strengthened by Zoom Bible studies and book discussion groups, outoor service projects like tree planting and gardening and food distribution, and more! We'd love to have you join us.

Click below for more information about these opportunities.

Want to give your support?
It's easy to make a one time donation or set up recurring giving.

When we give through the church, we offer to God a portion of what God has first given us: ourselves, our time, and our possessions. Click here to fill in your 2024 stewardship intent card.

As a congregation, we strive to use these gifts to do God's work in the world by feeding the hungry, helping to provide clothing and shelter where it is needed, and working for justice and peace in all the earth.
